Gathering bot

A Viking Rise gathering bot that never
stops to sleep

Gathering is the one job in Viking Rise that rewards attendance more than skill. Troops sit idle the moment a march returns, and they stay idle until someone opens the game. vikingsBot does the opening.

What the bot actually does

It logs into your account, sends your marches to resource tiles on the world map, and comes back to do it again. That is the whole loop, and it runs on our cloud devices rather than on anything you own.

Concretely, on each visit it does this:

  • Opens your account on a cloud Android device in our data centre.
  • Checks which marches are free — troops that have come home and are doing nothing.
  • Picks tiles according to the resource order you configured.
  • Sends them out and logs off until the next pass.

Three ways to choose what it gathers

You set the resource order once, per account, and it takes under a minute. There is no script to build and no node graph to wire — that complexity buys nothing when the job is this specific.

  • Fixed priority — an explicit order, for example wood first, then stone. Use it when one building queue is the bottleneck and you know exactly which.
  • Random spread — the bot varies what it gathers. Useful when your stockpiles are roughly balanced and you want them to stay that way.
  • Lowest first — it chases whatever resource you are shortest on. The setting to pick if you would rather not think about it again.

Why a visit every 1.5 hours beats a faster bot

The instinct is that a bot should act constantly. In a gathering game the opposite is true: what costs you resources is not slow clicking, it is marches standing still. A march that finishes at 3am and waits until morning is several hours of nothing, and no amount of click speed recovers them.

So vikingsBot visits each account roughly every 90 minutes and sends home whatever is idle. That is frequent enough to keep the marches moving through the night, and unremarkable enough to look like a person who checks in often — which matters, because a client that hammers the servers is the easiest kind of automation to spot.

Worth knowing

Automating gameplay is against the Viking Rise terms of service. We keep the behaviour close to how an attentive player actually plays, and we do not modify the game client — but no one can honestly promise there is zero risk of account action. If that risk is unacceptable to you, use farm accounts you can afford to lose.

What it does not do

This matters as much as the feature list. vikingsBot does one thing, and pages that pretend otherwise waste your time:

  • It does not build, upgrade or manage construction queues.
  • It does not train troops or run research.
  • It does not play the political game — no alliance help, no rallies, no war.
  • It does not touch your main account's combat decisions. It gathers.

What it costs

$2 per game account per month, with no tiers and nothing to buy on top. You can change presets as often as you like and cancel whenever you want.

The service is live. Register, add your accounts and configure them — they start gathering as soon as your subscription is active, at the rate you signed up on.

Questions, answered.

Does the gathering bot need my PC to stay on?

No. It runs on cloud Android devices in a data centre. Nothing is installed on your PC or phone, and you can close everything and go to bed — the accounts keep gathering.

How many accounts can one person run?

As many as you want to pay for — each game account is $2 per month and gets its own cloud slot. Most people running farm accounts start with a handful and add more once they see the stockpiles moving.

Can I choose which resource it gathers?

Yes. Each account is set to a fixed priority order, a random spread, or whichever resource that account is currently lowest on. You can change it at any time and it applies on the next visit.

Does it work while I am playing on the same account?

Two sessions on one game account will fight over it — one logs the other out. Use vikingsBot on accounts you are not actively playing yourself, which for most people means farm accounts.

Put the idle marches
back to work.

Add your accounts now and they start gathering — $2 per account per month, cancel anytime.
