Is botting safe in Viking Rise?
The honest answer
We sell a bot, so treat everything here with the scepticism it deserves. But the version of this page that would help us sell more — the one that says the risk is zero — is a lie you can check, and you would find out the expensive way.
The short answer
Automation is against the Viking Rise terms of service. Accounts can be actioned for it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either not reading the terms or hoping you will not.
What is also true: enforcement in games of this shape is uneven, tends to arrive in waves rather than instantly, and rarely looks like a single tripped alarm. That is not permission — it is just the shape of the risk you are taking on.
What raises the risk
Most accounts that get caught get caught for behaviour, not for the software that produced it:
- Superhuman patterns. Actions at perfectly regular intervals, or at a rate no person sustains, are the easiest thing in the world to query for.
- Never being offline. A city that acts 24 hours a day, every day, without a single gap does not look like a player.
- Modified clients. Anything that patches or injects into the game itself is a different category of detectable — and a different category of consequence.
- Being reported. Other players notice a city that farms the same tiles all night and never answers chat. Reports are what puts a human in front of your logs.
- Standing out in a group. Twenty accounts created together, named alike and behaving identically are much easier to find as a set than as individuals.
What lowers it
Nothing here makes automation safe. Each of these narrows the gap between how the account behaves and how a person behaves:
- An unmodified game client. vikingsBot drives an ordinary installation on an ordinary Android device. Nothing is patched, hooked or repacked.
- A human rhythm. Visiting an account roughly every 90 minutes looks like an attentive player. Acting every few seconds does not.
- A narrow footprint. Gathering is one ordinary action. A bot that also builds, trains, joins rallies and answers events touches far more of the game, and leaves far more to notice.
- Keeping it off the account that matters. This is the one with the biggest effect, and it costs nothing.
We do not know the publisher's detection rules, and neither does anyone else selling you a bot. We can tell you exactly what our software does and does not do — an unmodified client, a visit every 1.5 hours, gathering only — and you can weigh that. We cannot promise your account will not be actioned, and we will not put a number on a risk we cannot measure.
How to decide
The question worth asking is not whether it is safe. It is what happens to you if this account is gone tomorrow:
- A farm account you built in a week? Losing it costs a week. That is a real answer, and for most people it is a fine one.
- A main city with a year and real money in it? No monthly saving is worth that. Play it yourself.
- Somewhere in between? Start with the accounts you would shrug at, watch what happens for a month, and decide with your own evidence rather than ours.

Will my Viking Rise account be banned for using vikingsBot?
We cannot promise it will not. Automation breaks the game's terms of service, so account action is always possible. We keep the behaviour close to an attentive human player and never modify the game client, but anyone claiming a zero-risk bot is selling you a story.
Has anyone been banned using it?
The service is young, so there is no meaningful ban history to report yet. When there is, we would rather tell you what it actually looks like than quote a reassuring number we made up.
Is a cloud bot safer than an emulator bot?
Not inherently. What matters is what the automation does — how often it acts, whether the client is modified, how much of the game it touches — not the hardware it runs on. The main practical difference is reliability, not detection.
Should I use it on my main account?
We would not. Use it on farm accounts you could stand to lose, and keep the city you have spent real time and money on under your own hands.
